Active in 8 European countries, Achmea is the holding company for a group of strong, successful insurance brands. We aim to position each brand as the preferred provider for a specific target group. Each brand has a specific target market and some have specific distribution channels.

This operating structure lays strong foundations for achieving our strategic goals. We aim to offer targeted and tailored branded products while benefiting from economies of scale in back-office administration and processes.

Within our organisational structure, these brands are managed by operating companies. Each operating company has deep understanding of its local market and target audience, and is extremely customer-focused. Achmea provides support by, among other activities, facilitating the exchange of skills and experience across the Group.
