Achmea has a 100% stake in Eureko in Romania. Eureko is a recognized pioneer in Romania’s health market. It is one of the few insurers to offer a full range of life, health and pensions insurance products. Eureko has approximately 600 employees, in 2 companies operating on the Romanian market: Eureko Insurance and Eureko Pensions.

Eureko Insurance and Eureko Pensions

One of the most innovative companies on the market, Eureko Insurance offers a complete range of life and health insurance products. In 2007, Eureko Pensions was among the first players involved in reforming the Romanian pension system, launching two pensions products by 2008. Also, Eureko Insurance is the leader of the private health insurance market and is constantly growing the national network of health services providers (currently more than 250 units).

Eureko acquires Interamerican, including Interamerican Romania.
